ENPLAN prepares Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and Storm Water Management Plans (SWMP) addressing construction, industrial and municipal activities. We also have extensive experience supervising implementation of our plans, conducting site inspections, performing required sampling, and preparing final documentation.
Our project experience is broad and growing.
- Residential Subdivisions/Complexes
- Commercial and Industrial Facilities
- Public Schools
- Wastewater Treatment Facilities
- Landfill Capping and Closure
- Roads and Bridges
Construction SWPPPs are required for projects that individually or collectively affect one or more acres of soil. Construction SWPPPs generally focus on measures to prevent storm water discharges containing sediment during the site construction process. Monitoring is conducted to ensure that the measures function correctly.
Industrial SWPPPs are required for a broad range of activities including manufacturing, hazardous waste treatment, storage and disposal, transportation and wastewater treatment. An industrial SWPPP addresses the site's sources of pollutants, measures to reduce or eliminate them, and monitoring to assure efficacy.
Municipal Storm Water Programs regulate storm water discharges from municipal storm sewer systems (MS4s). Requirements apply to small municipalities as well as educational campuses, military bases, prisons, hospital complexes and so on. SWMPs contain best management practices addressing aspects such as public education and outreach, discharge detection and elimination, construction and post-construction, and municipal operations.
ENPLAN specialists utilize cutting-edge geospatial information technology to map storm drain infrastructure, perform drainage analyses, determine areas of disturbance, and generate quality graphics.
Measures recommended are tailored to the site and activity. Our storm water plans not only stand up to intense regulatory scrutiny, but they have also been praised by our clients for embodying control measures that are both practical to implement and cost effective.
