Business Development Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Strengthen and build long-term relationships with clients, government officials and team members.
- Track procurement opportunities. Contact potential clients. Respond to requests for qualifications, quotes and proposals. Establish and maintain long-term contracts.
- Track grant opportunities and pull expert teams together. Prepare grant applications. Build relationships with granting agencies.
- Coordinate input from internal team members on proposals.
- Evaluate and implement marketing and advertising campaigns. Update promotional material and contact databases.
- Manage company registrations with local and national organizations.
- Manage enrollment, event planning and client outreach for training events.
Attributes:
Excellent writing and speaking skills. Extremely well-organized and able to multi-task. Training and/or experience in Excel and graphics software. Diplomatic, upbeat, assertive and outgoing with confident, can-do attitude. Non-smokers only please. Four year degree required; recent graduates welcomed. Familiarity with government procurement, construction industry, environmental planning, and/or geospatial data and software a plus. 2+ year commitment requested. Training provided.
Compensation and Hours:
Pay is dependent on capabilities and experience. Hours and schedule are generally flexible between 7AM-7PM.
